Quality and food safety are more important than ever. The consumer expects demands nothing less. But how do you guarantee these? Through FV SeleQt. These two aspects are our no.1 priority throughout all stages of the production process from crop to logistics.

Our Kenyan growing sites use the Dudutech system. This is a concept that keeps the use of crop protection agents to a minimum. Diseases and pests are mainly controlled biologically. Every agent we use is subjected to a 100% watertight check. So legumes and herbs from FV SeleQt are absolutely food safe in compliance with EU regulations.

In-house quality departments

The Best Fresh Group also has its own in-house quality departments. These specialists are responsible for ensuring that products are grown and packed properly. The quality departments work closely with all the production sites in Africa, South America, the Middle East and Europe. The result is a uniform quality policy with identical – and customer-specific – specifications for appearance, size, weight and packaging. Products undergo their first quality check on arrival at Poeldijk. Check no. 2 is done once they are ready for dispatch. Food safety first!
